Village Talk Thank You

We would like to thank Simon Brown for his fascinating talk “Ocean Greyhounds: The Great Transatlantic Liners of the 1920s to 1950s.” A captivated audience of nearly sixty people really appreciated and enjoyed it, and it was very clear that a lot of time, care and love had gone into its preparation. Simon looked very smart too, and that, together with the inclusion of some truly authentic luggage, and wonderful images on screen, all served to make a great visual impact, and a very lovely evening.

The talk raised £275 for The Royal British Legion, a very appropriate gesture for Armistice Day.

Thank you, Simon.
