Monday 8th December
‘What we have to celebrate’ is the topic of our next Thinking Allowed, which will be next Monday. There is so much negativity, fear and gloom around in our world at present and our topic, decided at the last meeting, will be a reminder that celebration is an important part of life. For a variety of reasons, not everybody may feel like celebrating at the moment, though gold can be mined from places of darkness. All are asked to think of what they have to celebrate and those who wish will have the opportunity to share this at the meeting. There will be no accompanying notes for this session.
Recognising the fast approach of Christmas, mulled wine and mince pies will be available as well as stimulating conversation and poetry. As usual, we meet at 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. The bar will be open from 6.30pm. All will be welcome.
