Storyteller Alexandra Simson, whose voice is described as ‘liquid, buttery and deep’, kicks off the New Year in the bar area of The Regal Theatre on 5th January with ‘Heartwarming Tales’, in which she tells stories adapted from traditional ancient tales she’s gathered from all over the world.
On 18th January The Royal Opera’s production of La Traviata comes to the screen in a matinee performance, followed on Thursday 22nd by a sharp, stylish and darkly funny version of Hamlet, directed by Robert Hastie.
And there’s free admission to a morning screening of The Lion King on Saturday 24th January, courtesy of Minehead Town Council. Hakuna matata!
