Somerset Council would like to share important information regarding upcoming traffic-signal refurbishment and safety improvements at the A39 Dunster Steep / Church Street junction, which is part of a county-wide initiative to modernise ageing signal equipment, improve long-term safety, reliability, and traffic flows.
These works will begin week commencing Monday 5th January 2026, with completion expected in April 2026.
