As some of you may know, I measure rain for the Met Office. I thought villagers may be interested to know the Wootton Courtenay rainfall figures for the past 3 years:
2023 – 1,362.2mm
2024 – 1,267.8mm
2025 – 979.1mm
The wettest day in 2025 was January 26th, with 38.5mm. Amazingly, the driest month was March, with a mere 9.3mm. Not so surprising was that November was the wettest month, with 187.5mm.
