A reminder that the upcoming works on the A396 Cutcombe Hill will commence during the week of 9th February 2026. To minimise disruption, the contractor will undertake the works during night-time hours. This will allow the carriageway to reopen during the daytime to support visitor access and local traffic. Temporary traffic lights will remain in place during the day. The duration of the works is expected to be approximately three weeks.
The road will be closed between 7.00pm and 7:00am from 9th February until 27th February. Each day, the road will reopen between 7:00am to 7.00pm, with two-way traffic signals in place to manage traffic safely. If works finish earlier than expected, the road will be fully reopened.
