Since their release on Exmoor, 19 pine martens have been fitted with temporary radio collars, and tracking has since revealed that some have travelled more than 40 miles! The latest on the pine marten project is just one item in this month’s ENP ParkLife online magazine, along with news of a new sponsorship scheme by Buckley’s Bees to support ‘Sowing the Seeds’, a CareMoor initiative dedicated to restoring nature rich wildflower meadows across Exmoor. There are also details of this year’s Exmoor Nature Festival in May, and the opportunity to have your say in the Exmoor Housing Needs Survey, the area’s biggest ever housing survey.
