Thank you to everyone for understanding that we needed a break together and some time out with complete rest and relaxation. The hotel was beautiful and very tranquil and we were treated to the most amazing selection of Tunisian food, so we made full use of the facilities! It was not as sunny as we’d hoped, but warm and at least we escaped two weeks of constant rain. Is it ever going to stop?
So, we’re back up and running, and the shop and Post Office have resumed normal opening hours, as have the coffee shop and bar.
We’d like to say a big thanks to Barbara, Paul and Nicky who managed the papers whilst we were away. Typically, NewsTeam went into overdrive with mistakes on our paper order while we were away, so our volunteers had a much trickier time of it than we’d planned.
It’s going to take a few days to get the shop stock back up to normal. Milk and eggs are in, and more local fresh goodies will be arriving throughout the week.
