The next Theatre Club screening is ‘The Audience’ on Tuesday, 31st March at 7.30pm.
‘The Audience’, written by playwright and screenwriter Peter Morgan, centres on the weekly meetings, called audiences, between Queen Elizabeth II and her prime ministers – from Churchill to Cameron. It premiered in the West End in 2013, at the Gielgud Theatre. The production we are showing is more recent, from the National Theatre, and stars Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth.
