This form is the means to record that each Trustee or member of the Village Hall CIO Committee has:
- Undertaken education regarding data privacy
- Have demonstrated (via a test) an understanding of the requirements of UK privacy law, commonly called GDPR
- Will consider data privacy when they act on behalf of the Village Hall CIO
- Will at least annually comply with the data retention requirements to delete data (whether electronic or in paper) more than a year old (excluding that required by other laws)
- Will protect data held by any means, from being received by anyone not required to hold it
- Will refresh this compliance commitment annually
