It’s about time we had a Stacked Wonky event, and here is one.
Join us for an evening of live performance, music, film, food and fun spilling through the rooms, corridors and cupboards (!) of one of our favourite places, Porlock Village Hall, at 7 pm on Saturday 29 June.
It’s been 5 years since we made “Liberator”, kick-starting a West Somerset journey filled with The Landings, Where the Wild Things Are, the Academy and a year-long collaboration with National Youth Dance Company, all fuelled by the warmth of a local band of collaborators, supporters and audience loyalists.
We hope to welcome familiar faces and new, particularly those who’d like to be part of the next 5 years!
As for what you’ll encounter on the night, there’ll be helium balloons rising, a 4 minute countdown, performances for an audience of one, the kids showing just what they are made of, fire, popcorn, films of past works and hot, tasty Magpies food and lots of CAKE!!!
We’re sorry we have to charge, it’s simply to cover the costs of what should be an epic Wonky night.
We hope to see you there!
