Meteorite falls Over Wootton Courtenay for VE Day!

Our Thursday evening ‘make a lot of noise’ in praise of our wonderful NHS zoomed off to a spectacular start…just in time to lend some authenticity to our VE Day celebrations!  A king-sized meteorite, just like a flying bomb, whizzed overhead leaving a huge trajectory trail right across the village sky.

You can see its spiraling fall in the trail.  Others must surely have seen it.  Thank you to everyone who planned our celebrations for yesterday.  We had our stay at home party, with egg and cress sandwiches and scones with strawberry jam on the drive – together in spirit!
