Just to let everyone know that there will soon be more activity by the Archery Club on the Village Playing Field following the recent changes to the government’s guidance for work and sport.
The small archery sheds will be dismantled and a new, larger storage shed will be erected adjacent to the toilet building. Exmoor National Park Planning Committee has granted approval for these changes. The Archery Club Secretary has confirmed that club members and the builders will comply with the government’s physical distancing guidance.
The Archery Club Secretary has also told me that archery sessions will shortly resume, as it is a sport that can easily comply with the government’s physical distancing guidance. Good to hear some positive news!
