Dear Villagers,

Thank you for all my birthday gifts and ‘Happy Birthday’ singing on Sunday, it was most appreciated.  Thank you for all the wonderful comments, I love it.  Here are this week’s menus:

 

Thursday 4th June, Collection from 5.00pm – 6.00pm

Preorders by Wednesday 12pm please

Chicken biryani with a cauliflower and potato curry (not spicy just ummm)  (GF)    £7.00

Vietnamese duck leg, poached in an Asian broth with star anise, cinnamon and ginger, served with pilau rice  (GF)

Char siu style pork belly with pilau rice and stir-fried vegetables (GF)  £7.00

Vegan biryani with a cauliflower potato curry (GF)   £6.50

Fresh fruit salad with poached pineapple, served with clotted cream (GF)  £3.00
Chocolate brownie with clotted cream  £2.50

 

Sunday Lunch, Collection from 12.30pm – 1.00pm

Can be ordered chilled if you prefer to heat it up later.  Orders by Friday 12.00pm.  All can be made gluten free – please advise when ordering.

Roast home-reared pork, apricot and sage stuffing, roasties, crackling, seasonal vegetables and a porky gravy   £7.00

Slow cooked brisket of beef served with Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, roasties and a delicious beefy gravy   £7.50

Vegetarian moussaka with a homegrown salad   £6.50

Apple crumble and custard   £2.50
