As from the 4th of July Village Halls were allowed to re-open with certain restrictions, so where are we?
Our hall will re-open on Monday 24th August, with policies and procedures in place to minimise transmission risk and with a newly resealed shiny floor.
At the Zoom Committee Meeting held on 1st July, the following Covid 19 documents, prepared by a sub-committee of 4 Trustees, were considered and approved :-
- Risk Assessment
- Policy Document
- New conditions of Hire – instructions for Group Leaders
- Covid 19 Secure – instructions for Individuals
All prepared in conjunction with ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England) guidelines and recommendations and required before we can re-open.
We had hoped to re-open at the end of July but contractor delays postponed commencement of the floor works until the 12th August.
