Our fab postman of some 40+ years leaves on Saturday. To say a more public ‘goodbye’, might I suggest that as many people as possible congregate outside the shop at 10.00am, the approximate time he delivers post here on a Saturday. We have a card to present to him with and nearly £700 of collection.
It would be an opportunity to express village gratitude and good wishes; he has looked after us exceptionally well.
