George’s Garage Forecourt
Monday 21st December, 5.30-6.30pm
Would you like to join in with some carol singing? A group will be gathering on George’s Garage Forecourt (opposite the shop) to sing carols on the 21st. Government regulations allow singing outside but to reduce the risk of virus transmission social distancing (2 metres) needs to be maintained and face-coverings are encouraged. If everybody brings their own cup, mulled wine will be provided but bring your own mince pie – shared food increases risk.
So, let’s bring some light into the darkness and spread some Christmas cheer to each other and to our lovely village. Come well wrapped up. Bring a torch or lantern. Bring a fold-up chair if it helps. We’ll provide the carols. You provide your voice. Together we’ll provide some joy.
• If you know somebody in the village who does not have internet, please invite them.
• So that we know how much mulled wine to make, please send an email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are planning to come.
• Please check your email or the village website for further information over the weekend of 19th-20th December in case arrangements have changed. Depending upon the numbers, you may be sent some carols to download.
In the meantime, tune your voice and begin practising your carols in the shower, in the garden, in the car and on your walks.
