Nigel Cox Talk Next Tuesday

Tuesday 22nd June at 7.30pm

Pest Control Without Chemicals

Wootton Courtenay Gardening Club is holding its final Zoom talk of this season next Tuesday. Nigel Cox will be giving us the lowdown on organic methods of pest control. Do you have vine weevils nibbling your elephant’s ears? Mealybug on your succulents? Codling moth attacking your Bramleys? Then this is the talk for you.

Nigel teaches horticulture at Cannington College, although since lockdown 2020 he has largely been lecturing remotely from home.  With the recent flourishing of wildlife-friendly gardening, chemical-free pest control has become a hot topic.  In this talk, Nigel will explain how we can all manage garden pests and diseases organically, using simple and inexpensive methods, and there will be a chance to ask questions afterwards.

The talk is open to all villagers, at no charge. A link will be sent out next weekend via email, which you can use to join the talk on Tuesday evening.
