‘The Dime Notes’ at The Regal

London’s most stylish vintage jazz band The Dime Notes come to the Minehead Regal on Saturday May 14 at 7.30pm with an upbeat, feel-good celebration of the irresistible, foot-tapping early jazz of the 1920s. The joyously engaging band will be digging back into the blues-drenched sounds of clarinet-driven New Orleans jazz, unearthing a repertoire of stomps, blues, and forgotten gems of the era from musicians such as Johnny Dodds, Jelly Roll Morton and Red Nichols.

Tickets cost £15.00 (Friends of the Regal £14.50, Students/Unemployed £12.50) and may be booked in advance online and at the Regal box office (Tel 01643 706430) between 9.30am and 12.00pm or by telephone only from 1.30pm to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. The Regal bar will be open for refreshments from 7pm.
