Saturday 21st May and Sunday 22nd May from 2.00 – 6.00pm
Keen gardeners will be showing off their green-fingered talents as they take part in the annual Porlock Open Gardens Weekend. There will be many gardens open, all offering a chance for you to visit gardens which would not normally be open to the public.
This year is focused on Outer Porlock, with gardens open along Bossington Lane, West Porlock and Porlock Weir, and included a wonderful variety of places to visit, from gardens with unusual trees and shrubs, terraces, ponds and water features, to gardens with stunning views over the sea and moorland.
Please do come along and see the gardens but also take time to visit the many shops, pubs and tearooms in Porlock. Plants will be available for sale at the old School Building.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the running of Porlock Visitor Centre.
Weekend tickets cost £7.50 per person – sorry but no dogs are permitted – and are available from Porlock Visitor Centre, ‘Gift and Candy’ and SPAR.
