Saturday 26th November at 10.00am
Every year in late autumn the parish council organises a village clean-up, and this year it has been arranged for Saturday 26th November, meeting at 10.00am on the church steps in the centre of the village. On other years we have met at the village hall for bacon butties to start with, but the hall is in use this year.
The aim is to clear drains of debris and leaves and generally tidy up the village, to encourage water to go down drains rather than flood the area. Please come armed with shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows and any other useful tools.
We look forward to seeing lots of willing helpers, as the more people there are the less each person has to do!
