Dear Villagers,
The dolls house has been sold, with a generous offer above the £500 asking price. And it’s staying in the village! Unfortunately we have been unable to make the move due to our slippery snow-covered drives. This is causing problems at the house, with Lord Nosey Parker still interfering with the packing and Lady Sparkle and Mr Slop-and-Mop having to carry out their illicit liaisons in the cupboard under the stairs.
All proceeds from the sale are going to the British Red Cross Pakistan Floods Appeal. Thank you to all the ladies who helped so much with fabrics, lace, etc, and to John Thorne who put the story on the communities page in the Free Press.
