I’d like to make everyone aware about weekend cyclists speeding through the village.
Last Sunday I was very nearly knocked down by some cyclists; three following each other, on the blind corner by Rose Cottage going towards Timberscombe. They took the bend far too fast and too close to the hedge to be able to see anyone walking along the road. In future I shall be walking on the other side of the road.
