There will be another ‘Thinking About Advent’ on Monday, 11th December at 6.30 for 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. The discussion, led by Brian Castle, will be around the theme of ‘Following the Star’. It will focus on the searching of the Magi and draw upon TS Eliot’s wonderful poem, ‘Journey of the Magi.’ This highlights the Advent themes of anticipation and waiting, raising some important issues for life’s journey.
Cake and mince pies, which are also important for any spiritual journey, will be amply provided and the bar will be open. Who knows, we may also sing a carol or two? We do hope to see you there.
