Tuesday 16th July at 7pm
The next Thinking Allowed will be next Tuesday (16th July) at 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. The bar will be open from 6.30pm. The topic, agreed at our last meeting, is what we make of the rise of the far right across Europe and how does it affect our lives. Much has happened since we agreed the topic and so there will be a lot to think about and we shall especially be considering whether the changes we are experiencing have the potential to help us live more fulfilled or less fulfilled lives. Notes providing background for our conversation will be posted later in the week. If the weather is good, we may be able to meet in the pub garden with its wonderful views across Exmoor. As well as serious conversation, there is also poetry, laughter and a warm welcome to all.
