We just wanted to thank everyone who came from Wootton Courtenay to support Open Gardens in Winsford last Saturday, in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice. It was a very happy and social day. Apart from trying to put up signs in the pouring rain two days before and the panic of waking up to more rain on the morning of the Open Gardens, everything to do with the day went very smoothly (the sun even decided to come out!) 181 visitors came from far and wide, including Torquay, Poole, Ilfracombe, Taunton and Wootton Courtenay, to enjoy 11 lovely gardens. £2,120 was raised for a wonderful cause!
