On Sunday 29th September 2024, Porlock Information Centre is celebrating the end of the Somerset and Exmoor Coast Festival with an open-air shanty concert featuring the popular and talented Barnacle Buoys. The concert is being held between 5.00 – 7.00pm.
This fun-filled evening will be taking place will be taking at Sparkhayes campsite, with views over the sea, providing an great atmosphere for rousing sea shanties. The whole family can join in with the songs, and refreshments will be provided by The Top Ship (with a licensed bar), and Exmoor Wood Fired Pizzas will be providing pizzas. Caribbean Cottage will deliver takeaways ordered in advance.

The concert will set the scene for a light, sound and sculpture self-guided walk on Porlock Marsh, immediately following the concert, which has been organised separately by Fuse Performance Somerset Outdoor Arts.
