If you’re in the mood for a light, feel good story, with some wonderful acting, you’ll definitely want to come to this!
Set in 1957, ‘Mrs Harris Goes to Paris’ is a fictional tale, but certain aspects of the story are true. Christian Dior, the House of Dior, and many of his associates and colleagues featured in the film are based on real people. Mrs Harris (played beautifully by Lesley Manville) is, however, very much a work of fiction, taken from the book by Paul Gallico. This is a heartwarming , uplifting film.
