This Sunday (24th November) is the last Sunday in the church calendar before Advent. We will be contemplating Advent this year with three evenings of reflections, led by Bishop Brian Castle, on the Old Testament’s ‘Song of Songs’.
Meetings start Monday, 25th November in the Villagers’ Stores (Skye’s Bar) at 630 for 7pm with appropriate cake and an open bar. The following reflections are on Monday, 2nd December and Tuesday, 10th December (to avoid a clash with ‘The Snow Queen’ in the village hall on 9th).
The Bible might not be your thing – but discussion and consideration of this enigmatic and unexpected book of the Old Testament might change that. An interesting hour is promised!
