Dear Villagers and Friends,
You have been extremely generous in donating food and cash to the Food Cupboard, so generous that I feel guilty about asking for further support – but I’m going to ask anyway!
Over the next week or so, Food Cupboard staff and volunteers will be packing Christmas food bags to distribute to some of the more needy families in our community. At the Food Cupboard we are faced with a major challenge – we currently do not have sufficient Christmas foodstuffs to fill the bags. We need lots more mince pies, etc. Please click here for a more detailed list.
It would be wonderful if you could donate Christmas food and leave it in the basket in the Villagers’ Stores. If it is easier for you to make a cash donation to enable the Food Cupboard to purchase food, please leave cash in envelopes with Sarah or Mark in the shop.
