Playing Field AGM

The Playing Field AGM will be held in the Village Hall at 7pm on Tuesday 10th December.

All village societies are invited to send a representative and all villagers are welcome.

We have received a £2,000 bequest (from Joan Burnell) and suggestions are welcome for suitable ways to use this gift. If you are not attending the AGM, please email me with your suggestions so that ideas can be discussed and approved at the AGM: mikeokeefe1951@gmail.com

A representative of the Sustainable Wootton Courtenay Group will seek approval of the following proposal:

The Sustainable Wootton Courtenay Group have carried out an informal survey to see how many dead trees there are around the perimeter of the Playing Field, along with how many Ash trees there are which, according to verifiable sources, may suffer 80% demise. The Woodland Trust have been offering bundles of various trees and hedging for rewilding and the group would be interested in looking at the possibility of planting smaller trees to replace what is dead and dying.

Playing Field Toilet Block

The damaged door has now been replaced. Access to the toilet is via the key safe. Enter the code (3-6-9) and press the silver lever down. After returning the key, please repeat the process to ensure the key safe is locked.
