I am delighted to welcome members of the former Taunton Sinfonietta in joining Minehead & District Choral Society for this concert, as they have done for numerous concerts over the past 17 years. The performance will consist of two great choral works; Rossini’s Stabat Mater and Mozart’s Requiem. Personal favourites of mine, these works complement and contrast with each other, presenting challenges to the choir, soloists and orchestra alike whilst lifting spirits and allowing us all to enjoy an evening with the masters.
