The Smokefree Somerset campaign is aimed at adults, specifically at groups where smoking numbers are higher or it is a particular area of concern, including pregnant women, those with mental health issues, adults experiencing homelessness, and ethnic minority groups.
The Smokefree Somerset Campaign focuses on:
Raising awareness of services available
Community engagement
Reducing smoking rates
Promoting smoke-free environments
A key component to this is our engagement plan, which has been developed to hear directly from the people we are hoping to speak to. They will be involved in how we shape our messaging.
How can you support the Smokefree Somerset Campaign?
We would like to ask you to complete our survey if you are a smoker, have given up smoking in the past three years, or are closely related to a smoker. We need to gather as much feedback from Somerset residents as possible to ensure our campaign messaging is right.
