Mark is going to be having a well earned rest and is away for a week of sunshine from Saturday 3rd May through to Saturday 10th.
Skye’s bar will be open as usual on the Friday evenings. This Friday looks like a sunny one, so we can make full use of the garden and then I’ll be honing my barmaid skills next Friday. Wish me luck!
The shop will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday (5th May). Papers will be in the rack first thing.
There will be no coffee shop on Thursday 8th May (but we have a full day of VE celebrations in the village that day anyway).
No coffee shop on Saturday 10th May.
Many thanks to all of you who gave Mark and I praise for our efforts in the shop, bar and cafe at the Parish Council AGM. We are very grateful for the continued support and pleased that you’re happy with all that we are doing. So sorry I wasn’t there to hear them – oops! – but the sun was shining and tennis beckoned.
