All Saints church has a new floor to the ringing room! Thanks to Amanda for organising the replacement of the old and rotting floor, and to Brian and Margaret O’Hara for the gift of their old carpet – it’s quite a transformation.
Next week we have a visiting band of ringers from East Anglia who will attempt to ring a quarter peal. Listen out from about 10:45am on Tuesday 10th to catch some excellent ringing. A quarter peal typically takes 45 minutes and involves a minimum of 1,260 bell changes, so it is quite a feat of concentration!
