The Wootton Courtenay Dickensian Feast was a celebration of Victoriana and a chance for villagers to dress up to the nines, from Miss Havisham to Sherlock Holmes and Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Ruth Walker and her wonderful team of organisers, creators, cooks and helpers gave us all an afternoon to remember, raising £1,413 for St Margaret’s Hospice.
