Somerset Council is updating the Somerset Adult Social Care Strategy, which will set out our key priorities for the next three years (2026–2029). To make sure the Strategy reflects what really matters, we want to hear from people who receive care and support, unpaid carers, and the organisations and professionals who provide services across Somerset.
Your experiences will directly shape our priorities. They will also help us understand where improvements are needed so we can reduce inequalities and make Adult Social Care more inclusive and responsive.
We would like to hear about:
- Your recent experience(s) of accessing care and support in Somerset
- Any barriers you have faced, and your ideas for overcoming them
- What good care and support looks like to you (or in the service you receive)
- The priorities you think we should focus on over the next three years
Once we have reviewed all responses, we will use your feedback to refresh the Strategy. We will continue to involve people and professionals as the work develops to ensure services reflect the needs of our communities.
