Foster Care Fortnight runs from 11th to 24th May and is a national campaign to raise awareness of fostering, celebrate foster carers and encourage more people to consider fostering.
More than 670 children are currently in care in Somerset, many of whom need local foster homes so they can stay close to schools, friends and support networks.
