A reminder that essential works by Wessex Water are scheduled to begin today (Monday) in Wootton Courtenay and continue for two weeks, until Friday 8th May.
The works will be predominantly on the Shop/Post Office side of the road.
Church To Brockwell Lane and Ranscombe Road will be closed to through traffic from the junction of Stoney Close to the junction of Ranscombe Road and Fairgarden Road, with a signposted diversion via Cowbridge, Dunster and Tivington in place.
Currently, Wessex Water only require the T-junction of Fairgarden Road and Ranscombe Road to be closed on Tuesday 28th April and on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th May. You will be informed via a village email if these dates change.
Access will be maintained for residents within the closure, although it may be delayed at times. Emergency vehicles can access the area if required.
