We are currently short of prizes for the Flower & Produce Show raffle, which is a popular and important aspect of the show.
We would specifically like donations of foodie treats (bottles of drink (alcoholic or otherwise), chocolates, biscuits, etc) or gardening-related items. If you can help with any of those, please drop your donated prize off at the Villagers’ Stores next time you’re in there. All prize donations are much appreciated!
And a reminder that there’s just one week left to get your entries in for the show. If you haven’t already done so, please pick up a schedule from the Villagers’ Stores, fill in the entry form and return, with payment, to the shop by midday on Saturday 1st August. There are lots of inspiring categories, so why not see how many you can enter? The show is as much about growing and creating as it is about being competitive – we want to bring everyone together for an afternoon to remember!
