A reminder that midday today (Saturday 1st August) is the deadline for Flower & Produce Show entry forms, so if you haven’t already taken your form to the village shop – do it now!
There are still schedules available in the shop. With the prolonged dry weather this summer every entry counts – even if you only go in for one or two classes, it will make a difference this year. The Show is a collaborative effort and the more people take part, the more enjoyable it is.
Photography entries must also be handed in to the Villagers’ Stores by midday today, as the display will be created on Monday afternoon.
Show Day
Entries for the Flower Show must be brought to the village hall between 8.00am and 9.45am on Tuesday morning (including hanging baskets).
Judging begins at 10.00am sharp and late entries won’t count.
Thank you to everyone who has donated raffle prizes and/or offered to make a cake for the refreshments table. We have enough raffle prizes now, thank you, and enough offers of cake. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
