We currently have an egg delivery every Tuesday, usually enough to last a week. This enables us to have a fresh stock of free range eggs with a good date on them.
Unfortunately, egg sales have dropped off considerably and I now have a whole shelf of eggs, half of which have a best before date of the 3rd October and the other half with a best before date of 10th October.
I shall cancel the order for the second week running and will have to reconsider stocking fresh eggs in future, which would be a shame, as Westcroft Eggs are lovely.
On another matter, to help avoid any confusion could I ask those of you who pay for papers monthly to do so at the beginning of the month, and also provide any dates that you are going to be away? This will help considerably to keep paper orders and payments in order.
