There are some wonderful events listed for November at The Regal Theatre, starting on Tuesday 3rd with a film adapted from Tove Jansson’s The Summer Book, in which Jansson recalls her childhood holidays on a remote Finnish island with her grandmother. A gorgeous book – let’s hope the film is too!
Then the Barnstormers take the stage from 12th – 14th with Mike Leigh’s infamous tragi-comedy Abigail’s Party (directed by our own Mary Noble, no less!). Anyone for a little cheesy pineapple one?
A screening of Carmen from The Royal Opera follows on the 15th, then there is a chance to test your sleuthing skills with Minehead Dramatic Society’s production of Agatha Crusty and the Village Hall Murders from 26th – 28th.
