Life Below Stairs – March 25th

Dr. Patrick Hoyte will be giving a talk entitled ‘Life Below Stairs’ for the St Petrock History Group in January 2019.  This promises to be a fascinating insight into the lives of servants from the mediaeval period onwards. Monday 25th March at 7:30pm in the Wootton Courtenay Village Hall. Licensed bar - no entrance fee.

Film Club : The Bookshop – Monday 18th at 7 for 7:30pm

Our next screening will be The Bookshop on Monday 18th at 7 for 7:30. England 1959. In a small East Anglian town, Florence Green decides, against polite but ruthless local opposition, to open a bookshop. I will also have news about further screenings, opera and live TV. Bring a cushion!
