Tea Dance

Sunday 10th May, 2.30 to 5.00pm

Wootton Courtenay Village Hall

To celebrate VE weekend, we would like to invite you to our tea dance in the village hall.  We hope to recreate the nostalgia of a war time tea dance, so would encourage you to dress in 1940s style if you can.

After a brief welcome we will enjoy the music of the 1940s and invite those of you who would like to waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, or simply shuffle to take to the dance floor!  If dancing is not your thing, don’t worry, just sit back and enjoy the music.

In the break we will serve a vintage-style afternoon tea to your table.  Finger sandwiches, scones and a selection of cakes will be on offer.  We will also have a sing-song to some wartime favourites too!

We are funding this event ourselves and would be grateful for any offers to bake a cake or scones.

Due to the size of the hall, numbers will be limited and tickets must be reserved in advance by contacting us on 07704 569445.
