With donations to Somerset Wildlife Trust
The bad news: unfortunately Wootton Courtenay Garden Club’s plant and seedling swap this year has been cancelled.
The good news! – we have set up a way to have a plant and seedling swap, while observing the social distancing rules. Here’s how it’ll work:
Please email Lucy at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5.00pm Thursday 28th May with:
- Offers of plants and seedlings (vegetables or flowers) that you have available
- The name of the plant and the number of them you can offer
- Your wish list of what you’d like! eg one tomato plant
Lucy will email round a list of offers on the morning of Friday 29th May.
On Friday 29th May (between 8.00am and 11.00am) and on Saturday 30th May (anytime), please drop off your offered plants (unless pick up and drop off delivery has previously been arranged) to the table outside the garage at Ranscombe Lodge, just by the main gate (come up the short drive and the garage is directly in front of you. No cars please, if possible, as there is limited turning space).
Lucy will email you, either to arrange for plants and seedlings to be directly delivered, or to arrange a time slot for you to pick up your seedlings and plants on Sunday 31st May between 10.00am and 2.00pm (depending on demand).
Please give a donation for plants and seedlings to Somerset Wildlife Trust (https://www.somersetwildlife.org/support-us/donate). In the comments section of the SWT donation page, please write that your donation was for Wootton Courtenay Plant and Seedling Swap. Thanks!
