Helen Jones Ceramics
As an avid collector of ceramics and textiles from the 1950s and ’60s, Helen’s love of design and texture is reflected in her pieces. Her stoneware vases and decorative vessels give a nod to these eras and sit comfortably in today’s interiors, whether contemporary or eclectic. Her work is constantly evolving and she finds inspiration from the dramatic landscape of Exmoor.

Using traditional metalwork skills taught by her father, Joanne Horrobin forms and planishes copper and then hot-fuses vitreous enamel at 800°C to create unique designs. Using local land and sea scape as inspiration, she scratches back the dried enamel to create a design, then kiln fires the piece and finishes each one with a bronze patina on the outside.
