The Exmoor Local Access Forum are an independent advisory body operating on a statutory basis under Section 94 of the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000. The statutory role of the Forum is to advise on the improvement of public access to land in the area for the purposes of open-air recreation and the enjoyment of the area, and as to such other matters as may be prescribed. The Forum members represent user groups such as horse riders/ walkers, land managers and two Exmoor National Park Authority elected Members.
The next Exmoor Local Access Forum meeting will be held via Video Conference on Wednesday 26th May 2021 at 9.30am. Usually the meeting would be held at a venue within Exmoor National Park, however, due to Covid 19, a video conference is currently more appropriate.
The meeting will be open to the press and public in accordance with the provisions of reg. 7 of The Local Access Forums (England) Regulations 2007 (under s. 94 and 95 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000). There is public question time at the beginning of this meeting, when the Chair will allow members of the public two minutes each in which to ask public access related questions.

The Forum welcomes any members of the public who would like to raise a question during the public question time. If you wish to raise a question, please contact me directly before Monday 24th May via email@example.com, so I can supply the video conference details. Alternatively, it is possible to submit a question in writing prior to the meeting and this will be discussed, and the response noted in the minutes.
