Most legal restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic will end today, Monday 19th July. Public Health leaders in Somerset are urging people to proceed with caution and act responsibly as the country prepares for the easing of national Covid-19 restrictions.
There are cases of the virus on Exmoor and in Minehead and Dunster, and the numbers are rising. For your own safety and that of others, it is recommended that you maintain the basic measures:
2 metre social distancing
Regular and thorough hand washing
Wear a face mask in indoor spaces other than your home
Make sure to get both doses of the vaccine
Self-isolate when required to do so
