Monday 4th of October is the start of a new season of films at the village hall. For our first performance we’re screening something warming and funny, “Finding Your Feet” with Imelda Staunton, Celia Imrie and Timothy Spall.
On the eve of retirement a middle class, judgmental snob discovers her husband has been having an affair with her best friend and is forced into exile with her bohemian sister who lives on an impoverished inner-city council estate.IMDB
The doors open at 7pm with the film starting at 7:30 and tickets costing £5 each, extra for the back row. We need at least one volunteer to run the Village Bar service as Andy Giles is indisposed that evening. Can someone help out and let me know? It would also be nice if a volunteer could take the money on the door too. (No training required other than counting in multiples of 5).
I look forward to seeing you on Monday night, Bill.
